November 25, 2014 with Lauren Mangus

IMG_7676The Tuesday before Thanksgiving at the Loving Touch is Pizzagiving, a big pizza potluck that happens every year. For this occasion, Lauren Mangus was my special guest for a night of all soul, including tributes to the recent passing of Jimmy Ruffin and her pal Mod Steve. Plus we did a 90+ minute set of Thanksgiving themed songs midway through the night, going from songs giving thanks, a blessing, turkey/chicken songs, biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy, desserts and finally – doing the dishes with pots and pans. Check out the whole six hour mix below, or just the Thanksgiving set as a separate file!
